Some of the best tigers reserves in India are Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan, Corbett National Park in Uttaranchal, Bandhavgarh & Kanha National Park in Madhya Pradesh and Kaziranga in Assam. The ponderous Great Indian Rhinoceros can be seen in the Kaziranga National Park in the Indian state of Assam in Northeastern India. Asiatic Lion:
The Asiatic Lion can be seen in India where the last surviving Asiatic Lions in the wild live in the Gir Forest National Park in Gujarat. The survival of this small population of lions, around 300 in number is the result of strenuous conservation efforts by the local ruler the Nawab of Junagadh, and the government of India who declared the Gir Forest a national park in 1965. The headquarters of the park is a 4 km Gir Interpretation Zone where you're almost sure to see a lion, when you visit Gir on your India travel itinerary.
